Use the Learning Design Tool Ribbon to Guide Your Work Flow

While you do not need to complete your design document in one sitting:

• It is important to complete each section of your design document in the order presented

• Before moving on to the next part of the document.

The Learning Design Tool Ribbon

1. Click New to start a new Learning Design document

2. Click Import Analysis Data to create a summary of your Analysis

3. Click Learning Hierarchy to add your learning objectives, choosing from the Knowledge, Skill, or Attitude domains

4. Click Learner Achievement to add your learner achievement activities

5. Click Course Structure to edit your Module & Lesson names, adjust your teaching sequence and generate your initial course outline

6. Click Add Content Block to add instructional activities to your Lessons as you add detail to your course outline

7. Click Course Outline to extract a copy of your outline into PowerPoint or LeaderGuide Pro

8. Click Audit Data to extract an audit trail of everything imported in and extracted out of your learning design document
