Install Requirements for AuthorTec
Installation Requirements
AuthorTec must be installed locally on each computer, by a someone with full system administrator and:
- Software install privileges
- Full Control (Read & Write) to all of the Windows Registry keys contained in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software and sub-folders

Read & Write privileges to C:\Users\user.name\App Data and sub-folders
Microsoft Word & PowerPoint Requirements
- Word and PowerPoint must be the same version and build as each other
- Personalized with:
- User Name
- Initials
- Opened at least one time before installing AuthorTec
NOTE:
📍 AuthorTec will NOT run with:
- Developers editions of Microsoft Office
- Cloud-only versions of Microsoft 365
